Revise/polish your story about the ice storm and the rest stop (or write it for the first time). Go for getting the character motives just right. Add "tone," theme, dialogue, details, drama, voice (see VOICE on navigation bar), conflict, obstacles, narratives, etc toward crafting a beautifully written complete story.
